Itinerary

Day 1
Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley
Your journey begins in Marrakech, where you’ll head into the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the scenic Tizi n’Tichka pass at 2,260 meters above sea level. This route offers spectacular views of rugged peaks, lush valleys, and traditional Berber villages.
One of the highlights of the day is the visit to the renowned Kasbah Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This ancient fortified village, with its striking clay architecture, has been the backdrop for famous films like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Afterward, you’ll make your way to Ouarzazate, also known as the “gateway to the desert,” where you’ll explore the historic Kasbah Taourirt and learn about the region’s cinematic history.
The day concludes with an overnight stay in the stunning Dades Gorge. Enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner while surrounded by dramatic rock formations and the soothing sound of the Dades River.

Day 2
Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Merzouga Desert
Start your day with a hearty breakfast before heading to the Todra Gorge, an awe-inspiring canyon known for its towering cliffs that reach heights of up to 300 meters. This natural wonder is a favorite spot for photography and light hikes.
As you continue your journey, the landscape transforms into vast desert plains, leading to Merzouga and the towering dunes of Erg Chebbi. Upon arrival, you’ll leave modern transportation behind and embark on a camel trek through the dunes as the sun sets, painting the sands in shades of gold and orange.
The evening is spent in a traditional Berber desert camp, where you’ll enjoy a delicious dinner, live music, and storytelling around a campfire. Fall asleep in your cozy tent beneath a blanket of stars, an experience that captures the magic of the Sahara Desert.

Day 3
Merzouga – Draa Valley – Marrakech
Awake early to witness the mesmerizing sunrise over the dunes, a moment that will leave you in awe. After breakfast, you’ll take a final camel ride back to the edge of the desert before beginning the return journey to Marrakech.
En route, you’ll traverse the picturesque Draa Valley, dotted with thousands of date palms and charming villages. There will be plenty of opportunities for photo stops and cultural exploration before arriving back in Marrakech in the late afternoon, bringing your adventure to a close.
